Lombardi House Holiday Party | Art & Soul Events

Dart Collective is a boutique music collective, focusing on entertainment for unique special events and weddings in Los Angeles and beyond. From vinyl-only sets to custom live band performances, Dart strives to surpass the typical live music experience. Since 2013, Dart Collective has hosted an annual holiday party to celebrate their Southern California vendor community. Dart paused these gatherings in 2020 and 2021 and they were so pumped to finally be able to get their event community back together again in December of 2022. With 300+ premiere event professionals attending each year, this epic party puts everyone in the local event industry in one space to drink, dance, let loose, and network with an eye towards the next booking season.

Dart partnered with us, Art & Soul Events, to plan and design the 2022 holiday party. We put together a stellar team of creative partners to showcase their talents and host their local event pros for an unforgettable experience. We designed the holiday party with a sophisticated, loungy, underground jazz club in mind. We wanted the atmosphere of the party to be welcoming, inclusive, and warm, while also being a celebration of music, creativity, and connection. Dart featured musical acts inspired by 90s hip hop, jazz, neo soul, and R&B. Dart kicked off the evening with a musical duet (guitar + piano), followed by a solo soprano sax player, then we moved inside for the party band, and ended the night with a DJ set.

The first thing guests saw when entering the Lombardi House gates was a custom "Can I Kick it? Yes You Can" welcome sign. The sign was surrounded by a dramatic cascading floral and candle installation. The sign was a playful musical nod to A Tribe Called Quest song! Lombardi House was a great place to host this indoor/ outdoor holiday party with plenty of room to comfortably host 300 guests! We had 2 packed bars featuring 3 delicious craft cocktails from Speakeasy LA served in Borrowed Blu glassware. We also enough room for 3 unique and cozy Found Rentals lounges, a Fundamental Events bao bun chef station, a cheese + charcuterie station, a Milk Bar dessert truck, a Smilebooth photo booth, a roving close-up magician, lots of cocktail tables with beautiful Luxe Linens, a dance area, a DJ, and room for a stage for the band to perform!

Guests entered the large Lombardi House barn doors by passing through a black and white tinsel installation which were a subtle nod piano keys. Inside the barn, Inessa created a hanging installation over the dance floor using bronze tinsel and vintage cassette tapes. Colorful and textural ground flower arrangements lined Dart's performance stage. We added small LED table lamps to the sophisticated indoor cocktail tables to help create the jazz club lounge feeling. It was a blast!!!
