The Ebell of Los Angeles is one of the most stunning historical venues in Los Angeles! Jessica and Alex hosted their ceremony-in-the-round in the Lounge, cocktail hour in the Garden and Art Salon, and their reception was in the Grand Ballroom. Jessica and Alex wanted a moody and whimsical wedding that was inspired by a Rembrandt still life painting in a Georges Méliès film. Georges Méliès was a French Film Director (French Illusionist... Grandfather of Sci-Fi). As a film school graduate myself, I was so excited that we were headed in a cinematic direction for their wedding design. Inessa Nichols designed the most magical, moody, and ethereal flowers and organic structures to bring this wedding vision to life! The Ebell events team went above and beyond to shower us with impeccable service and the food was delicious!
