Cassie and Kevin met on @hinge (a dating app) during the early days of the pandemic, while Cassie was still in cancer treatment. Their relationship started during what seemed like an impossible time for Cassie to start dating... but the universe had big plans for these two!

Cassie & Kevin hosted a magical 3-day wedding weekend in the beautiful forest of Big Sur. All of their guests stayed at Big Sur River Inn where they hosted a Friday welcome party BBQ and a Sunday farewell brunch. For the Saturday wedding, we bussed guests one short mile from the River Inn to the beautiful and majestic forest at Glen Oaks Big Sur. Guests were greeted with champagne, wine, beer and listened to the tunes of a live jazz trio before settling in for the creek side ceremony on the Redwood Grove lawn.

Cassie + Kevin had the most beautiful ceremony to witness and participate in! Not a dry eye in the house. It was deep, soulful, emotional, funny, and joyful! The ceremony honored Cassie + Kevin’s relationship, it honored their loved ones that joined us in spirit, and it brought their community together in a deeply meaningful way. During the ceremony there was a surprise moment where guests were asked to look under their seat to find a surprise spirit animal tarot card that would have a message for them. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the lawn while Cassie + Kevin took sunset photos and one big group photo with all of their guests. Then we ended cocktail hour with a group parade through the forest and up the hill to the Big Sur Roadhouse Restaurant.

We brought Spotted Hen Catering all the way from LA to Big Sur to takeover the restaurant and cook a delicious family-style meal. The fresh and seasonal menu blew everyone away as usual. The dinner tables gave cozy fall Wes Anderson camp vibes and featured animal spirit card table numbers, colorful knotted napkins, Sienna colored pillar candles, and delicate and textural blooms. After a romantic and cozy dinner under the twinkly lights, guests went inside to dance, eat cake and desserts, and enjoy the photo booth!

I can’t say thank you enough to this super special vendor team who took such great care of my sister-from-another-mister, Cassie! The Amy West floral creations were more beautiful than words. Our photographer Michelle Pullman from St.Chelle and videographer, Daniel, from Lovebrain Films brought the perfect balance of warmth, care, energy, and zen to the day. One of my other besties and childhood friends, Hair & Makeup by Yadira, did Cassie's hair ane makeup and she was glowing from the inside out.
