Whimsical ENgagement Party

We had the pleasure of planning and designing Z+D's engagement party at Petit Ermitage Hotel in West Hollywood, California! They wanted a bold, whimsical, maximalist fever dream party to celebrate their upcoming wedding! We transformed Petit Ermitage's rooftop, fire deck, pool, gardens, wiggle room, and butterfly bar into Z+D's wonderfully wild wonderland. Guests stepped through a rabbit hole into an immersive world filled with quirky characters. We had a Gentleman Frog character greet guests with a map and schedule of the party. We had a roaming flower ballerina, an ivy stilt walker, a crystal ball juggling mime, a head-in-a-table grazing station, a fawn lady character, a dancing mirror ball couple, fire dancers, a bubble contortionist, a roving magician, and a custom Zoltar machine of Z+D's dog!

We designed an "Eat Me, Drink Me" Bar, an interactive "Cabinet of Curiosities" activation, and a "Smoke Me" weed bar. These vignettes featured an eclectic mix of taxidermy, oddities, curiosities, custom Cecile's Paper Co. signage, and lush, dramatic, and moody Dogwood & Fir dripping garden blooms.

Guests could pop into our Tattoo Parlor and get a custom flash tattoo from renowned tattoo artists, Chong Tramontana and Aidan Monahan. We also had a portrait studio where guests could get a Tin Type celluloid film portrait. Guests also enjoyed The Toledo Show's sexy femme fatale burlesque cabaret inside the Wiggle Room. DJ Amara kept the guests energy up all night with her playlist. Guests continued to be surprised and delighted all night!
