Elissa + Alex hosted 140 lucky wedding guests at Stanford Sierra Camp, a Stanford alumni sleepover camp, at Fallen Leaf Lake (near South Lake Tahoe). Guests spent 3 days on this stunning property enjoying each other and everything this spectacular camp has to offer. Guests were treated to 3 delicious freshly cooked meals a day. Elissa + Alex thoughtfully curated every single menu with Chef Tara and the food was delicious!

If guests weren’t attending the welcome party happy hour, taco-party welcome dinner, hootenanny sing-a-long, group polar plunge, breakfast, lunch BBQ, wedding festivities, or the farewell brunch... they were out hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, or relaxing on the ski dock. This wedding celebration was super special and the guests had such a great time. It was so cool to see everyone connecting and enjoying 3-days filled with nature, delicious food, campfires, and music!

The Stanford Sierra Camp team were over the top accommodating. Morgan, Alisha, Rachel, and Chef Tara generously navigated all of our requests, questions, and emails. They sent me pictures and measurements whenever needed and they were a true partner in planning this 3- day destination experience. As far as the vendor team goes, I tried to bring in as much local talent as possible. We transformed the Lodge dining room into Elissa + Alex's family-style dinner party reception. With the help of SSC we removed all of the existing Lodge furniture and brought in tables, chairs, and specialty linens. The tabletops featured local and seasonal Zuri Floral Design blooms, candles, wine bottles, and table snacks. Guests ate dinner, drank wine, devoured a berry pavlova, and danced the night away!
