Wrensmoor Castle is a unique luxury private estate venue located just east of downtown Los Angeles, California. Built circa 1925 in the style of a French Pyrenees Château, this gated, 9 bedroom 8500 sq. ft. mansion sits on a 2.7 acre hill, with lush lawns and 360 degree views. The estate is perfect for weddings, family reunions, group travel, corporate events, retreats, and more.

When you book Wrensmoor Castle for your wedding, you and 20 VIP guests can check-in on Friday afternoon and check-out on Sunday morning! Chef Cordelia is the operator and exclusive caterer. You can conveniently hire Cordelia's team to feed your guests all weekend if you're hosting multiple events (i.e., a rehearsal dinner, welcome party, wedding, and farewell breakfast).

I was so excited to plan and design this colorful, luxe, maximalist, decadent, al fresco dinner party at Wrensmoor Castle. We set the table with textured citron damask linens and velvet lavender napkins from Luxe Linen. We selected poppy orange floral patterned Oscar de la Renta plates, emerald ribbed glassware, and ivory bistro flatware from Casa de Perrin. We paired this with the wrought iron bistro chairs from Bright Rentals. Our stationer, Maison Blanche, designed two sided bookmark-style name cards that also doubled as a menu. Inessa Nichols bold, abundant, and colorful garden blooms brought the table to life and paired beautifully with her hand-painted leaf taper candles that decorated the dramatic candelabras.

Guests enjoyed a delicious family-style al fresco meal while Dart Collective live musicians gently played in the background. The chicken liver terrine with balsamic onion jam, pickled mustard seeds, served on crusty bread was a wow dinner moment. There was also a steamed whole snapper with cilantro, lemongrass, and yuzu chili crisp! Guests passed around a delicious green garlic risotto, farmers market veggies, a gem lettuce salad, and various bottles of wine.

Nicole Bakes Cakes made a delicious fresh berry pavlova that guests enjoyed after dinner. She also hand crafted artisanal chocolate bars for each guest to take home.
